Tonight, Takeovr is going to have mother fucking Dillon Francis DJing and it’s a pretty big deal. Besides being the 100th edition of this fantastic amazing dance party, one of the dopest producers in music – period – will be doing his thing and I expect to leave the Roxy a sweaty, stinky mess.

Tigorilla is one of my favorite producers at the moment. His moombahsoul remix of Bibio’s “Light Sleep” is relatively simplistic but hits just right, with an 808 kick drum battling disco-funk guitar loops. Another essential jam from Tigorilla is his remix of Viva City’s “Her Royal Hedonist”, a dirty electro-house inspired work out that slowly builds towards a heavy drop that could inspired the dead to dance. Keep an eye out on Tigorila, he’s set to release a few things this month!

Last month I presented a number of tunes from Bro Safari and this edition I’m proud to share his “Back to School” mix, chock full heavy, original moombahton and moombahcore from some of the top names in the game. Generation Bass is not only one the first websites to actively promote moombahton as a genre, will also truly promoting a global spectrum of bass music, it’s also a label that’s released some of the dopest tunes to date. Shazalakazoo‘s “Bang! Bang! EP” is a certified banger, as you can hear in the sampler mix below. It’s a bit of a teaser but has definitely peaked my interest in their production.
