The man credited with single-handedly creating the Richmond electro scene will be bringing his distinctive banger style to this week’s J.E.S.U.S. on June 11th. First popping up in the scene in early 2007, PJ the Viking began his rise to banger glory by throwing dance parties in small Richmond bars and quickly became popular name on the blogosphere.
Viking was heavily influenced by the French European Electro wave, and his style is an epic, melodic, and incredibly danceable blend of original electro and remixes. Think of it as that distinctly bassy, and chilled out Valerie sound mixing with the poppy effervescence of some Totally Michael. The result is music that you cannot really help but bop your head to, to move your hips a bit.
